About Us

Bin Rescue is a locally owned trash bin cleaning service dedicated to helping homeowners keep their garbage cans clean, sanitized, and odor-free. Our specialized cleaning trailer uses high-temperature water and professional equipment to break down grime, eliminate bacteria, and leave your bins fresh. Each cleaning helps reduce odors, pests, and the buildup that naturally occurs in residential trash cans.

Because we live and work in the communities we serve, protecting the Barnegat Bay watershed matters to us. Our system is designed to clean effectively while using eco-friendly water management practices that help prevent contaminated runoff from entering local waterways. We proudly provide curbside trash bin cleaning throughout Ocean County and southern Monmouth County, making it easy to keep your home cleaner without lifting a finger.

Just leave your cans out — we handle the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know when my cleaning days are?

3 ways:

  • During sign up, you will receive a welcome email with your first service date.
  • Log into your account: when you log onto your account, click on the sidebar on the “Subscription details” tab to see when your next cleaning is.
  • Text alerts: We try to make it easier on you by sending text messages the night before your cleaning, as well as the morning of your cleaning when our driver is on their way. When signing up make sure to select that you want to receive SMS text messages for this feature to work.
How often should bins be cleaned?

Most homeowners choose monthly trash bin cleaning to control odors, bacteria, and pests, especially during the warmer months. Regular garbage can cleaning helps prevent buildup from food waste, liquids, and bacteria that accumulate inside trash cans. We also offer quarterly and one-time trash can cleaning services depending on your needs.

What if I need to reschedule my cleaning?

Log into your account: On the left hand side of the account is a tab labeled Availability Calendar. When you click this, you will be able to select all dates that you are unavailable. Our system will automatically schedule your next visit beyond this date.

Do you offer one time cleanings?

Yes. In addition to recurring service plans, we also offer one-time trash can cleaning services. This is perfect for homeowners who want to eliminate odors, prepare for the warmer seasons, or give their garbage cans a deep cleaning after a particularly messy trash week.

Why should trash bins be cleaned?

Trash bins quickly become a breeding ground for bacteria, odors, and pests. Harmful bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria can grow inside dirty garbage cans. Professional trash bin cleaning removes built-up grime, sanitizes the bin, and helps eliminate odors while improving sanitation around your home.

Regular garbage can cleaning also helps deter insects and rodents that are attracted to food residue left inside trash containers.
